Lawyers practise under Austrian law. The relevant rules include in particular the Lawyers’ Act (RAO), the Disciplinary Statute for Lawyers and Trainee Lawyers (DSt), the Guidelines for Practising the Profession of Lawyer (RL-BA 2015), the Legal Fees Act (RATG) and the General Fee Criteria for Lawyers (AHK).

Professional liability insurance
We hold professional liability insurance within the meaning of § 21a RAO. Its territorial scope covers the Member States of the European Union and the states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. On request, we will give clients the name and address of the insurer in accordance with the Services Act (DLG).
